Telly and Sue could not be a more charming and welcoming couple. More than happy to take the extra step - such as traffic warden lookout. Take every advantage of the parking permits if you get the chance. 15 minute stroll to The Lanes. Very clean and tidy. chocolates and cupcakes. little things that make a difference. Big breakfast choices. Also they seem to have done most restaurants in the area so can offer some great advice and recommendations. WiFi reception sketchy.

Room Tip: we stayed in room 10. 57 steps to top floor but worth it.

If you want a classic rustic and glam french hotel to stay in this is the one for you. My partner and I came here and felt the heart-warming welcome instantly. The owners Susan and Telly catered for our every need and more.... lovely touches like leaving us cute little cupcakes in our room on our second day. The room we stayed in was a dream come true. Wonderful decor through out the hotel. (given me a few ideas for home projects!!!) The bed was the most comfortable bed ever!!!! i slept really well (considering i have insommia!) and room was warm and cosy. Our room was No7. The freshly cooked breakfast was really lovely, Beautifully cooked and alot of technical skills. They have a secret recipe for thier mushrooms!! to die for!!! The breakfast room is light and airy with a beautiful blend of a rustic french cafe and the glam of a beautiful chanderler. Great touches like the napkin rings reading "BON HEUR." Susan and Telly were friendly, caring, funny, wonderful people and this made our stay relaxed. Telly is a great gardener, so much so he won the brighton in bloom competition. I alway judge a hotel by their planting outside because i believe if the outside is full of colour, beauty and TLC therefore inside will be to. This hotel is fabulous and Robert and I will be returning soon.

we arrived at the marina house hotel late friday eve, the greeting was excellant, parking was also sorted out. we stayed in room 7, this has recently been redecoratted to a very high standard (french provence) with a four poster bed. the room is very warming and the bed very comfortable, ther was also greeting gifts i.e thorntons chocolates and mints , it also provides tea and coffe facilitys with a range of biscuits. the onsuite facilitys were also excellant. we went down in the morninig for breakfast, again the welcoming was excellant, they provide an extensive range of cereals, fruit and yogart, aswell as fruit juice, then toast and either full engish or a light breakfast which was cooked beuitifully. the dining room also is decoratted in french provence style to a very high standard. overall our stay was excellant, very friendly and personal touch. The room prices reflect in the quality of this establishment. i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, it was a most pleasureable stay, and i will return to this hotel next time i stay in brighton.

Room Tip: rooms 7 and 10 are the higher priced but worth every penny.

Loved every second of our stay at the marina house hotel (B&B) having amazing hosts, telly and suzie adds so much to what already is such a beautiful place. This hotel does not only offer welcoming hosts and beautiful clean rooms!~ the breakfast is also amazing...tasty fulfilling and a variety! On our second breakfast telly made me and
my husband very yummy pancakes with fresh fruits and syrup! It was so yum :) whatever you feel like you just got to ask the chef' Telly'. Thank you telly and suzie for making our stay at Brighton a lovely one, you guys were so welcoming and friendly...not forgetting our interesting conversations...wish you all the best! We will be back soon :)

my boyfriend and I stayed here over the weekend as a last minute getaway expecting nothing to special as we left it so late we were pleasently surprised! we booked the budget room which didnt look so budget! the hotel is so quaint. telly and suzie sure do go that extra mile to make your stay special.. we had chocolate on our beds and room stocked with tea and coffee. we were expecting a communal bathroom as it says no en-suite but you do get your own private bathroom in the hall, very clean! the location was great only a few minute stroll to the pier/shops/resturants. couldnt fault a thing. will be back in a month with my mum sister and niece! smiles all round :) p.s AMAZING breakfast

We,ve just experienced two most enjoyable days at Brighton and Marina House.Suzie and Telly made our stay just 'perfick' [as Pop Larkin might say].
Our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated in the French style-very pretty.
Suzie and Telly are very friendly natural hosts and made us feel so very much at home.
Telly's Full English breakfasts are legendary in this part of Brighton and will set you up just right for a hard day's shopping!
We are both looking forward to our next stay at this home from home.
Suzie and Telly-thank you so much. Les and Nessa-Whitstable Kent

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear of the hotel are probably a bit quieter.
