“Very interesting if you like seeing how royalty lived”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

The opulence and history of the house were very interesting. The decadence of the dining room and music room were amazing.

“Cosy, friendly, nice simple food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

This has an old world atmosphere in keeping with the Royal Pavillion. The simple lunches are well cooked and served, but the joy is in the home made scones and cakes. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there are lovely views over the Pavillion gardens and you can sit out in the summer. It's now being revamped and going under 'new management' so I fear some of the atmosphere might be lost.

“A gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

We adored the Pav. The Dining Room and Kitchen, in particular, are worth the visit. Absolutely fascinating, and gorgeous.

“visit on a snowy March morning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

We took a day trip from Eastbourne to Brighton on a very cold and snowy day. However visiting the Royal Pavilion soon cheered us up. The history was so entertaining, and the lavish splendour of the building inside and out was well worth the visit. The entry price was quite a surprise as we had expected to pay much more. So glad we made the effort to get there.
