“The main Highlight in Brighton”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

This spectacular seaside palace of the Prince Regent (George IV) transformed by John Nash between 1815 and 1822 into one of the most dazzling and exotic buildings in the British Isles. The Pavilion houses furniture and works of art and a magnificent display of Regency silver-gilt. The Royal Pavilion Tearoom, with its fabulous balcony, overlooks the Pavilion gardens, which have also been returned to their original Regency splendour. Do NOT miss this marvelous building when in Brighton!

“Stunning”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

We went on a snowy day and had the place to ourselves. Wonderful way to spend an hour or so. Amazing interiors and free audio tour. Only tiny gripe was the lady who voiced the audio tour was very bossy! Staff say they are replacing the present system in the spring.

“Pavillion”

Imagining how the rooms were created and the massive costs. I enjoyed the recorded information that guides you through each room. Worth the price.

“Such beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

The pavilion appeals to all ages. The children's tour is fantastic and held our 8 year old's attention for the whole tour and he was asking questions after. I just love the opulence!
