We just visited this place at lunchtime today after a very enjoyable long walk. Really looking forward to some food and a beer in the midst of this fantastic setting. Sadly we were brought back down to earth with a jolt when we ordered bacon and melted brie toasted sandwiches, chips and some olives. They took over 15 to arrive and were cold! The waitress didn't bring any knives and forks, servettes or sauces and said she'd bring them later! I had to go in search of these items myself. The olives tasted of disinfectant and were unedible. We will certainly visit the area again but will stay clear of this rather dark, dingy and poor quality pub.
