“Terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

This place is absolutely terrible, it's an rip-off and poorly run. The rides are rusting and overpriced. None of them last more than 2 minutes and the staff are disgruntled and unhelpful.

It's run by the Nobles Organisation, which owns other amusement arcades across the country. It is a private family owned business who operated in shady ways during the 80s onwards.

It is free to enter The Palace Pier but after that, everything is ridiculously overpriced. There are also some unsavoury characters here, the usual drunk "weekender" types being louts.

“brighton pier rocks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

this is a free yes free pier so you can walk around it, sit on the seats and watch the world go buy or try some of the fairground attractions at the end of the pier but they can be a bit costly but they can shake you up as well, plenty of noodle bars for a quick hot snack as well as fish and chips a great free place to go

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

This is a fairly lively pier I particularly liked the free deck chairs near the funfair where you could sit with a drink or an ice cream. There are a few shops and restaurants to amuse you . The views were great and worth the walk.

“A good giggle”

The amusements and the rides are good fun for all ages! Also the view from the big ride at the end of the pier are pretty amazing if you are brave enough to go on it ;)

“A tradition and worth a quick walk...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

... or grab a bite to eat there. This is a classic/famous pier that really had to be walked while in Brighton. Frankly, though, it's a bit cheesey and arcades and low-level/quality kiddie rides. I'd give it 15 minutes. It can be very windy and on a cool day not so fun.
