This place is absolutely terrible, it's an rip-off and poorly run. The rides are rusting and overpriced. None of them last more than 2 minutes and the staff are disgruntled and unhelpful.
It's run by the Nobles Organisation, which owns other amusement arcades across the country. It is a private family owned business who operated in shady ways during the 80s onwards.
It is free to enter The Palace Pier but after that, everything is ridiculously overpriced. There are also some unsavoury characters here, the usual drunk "weekender" types being louts.
