“Perfect place for a party night in Brighton”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2011

We stayed a couple of weeks ago for my partners Birthday. I have to say that we couldn't fault the place. Rooms are nice, clean with nothing obvious that The Hotel Inspector would pick up on. The staff are all lovely and really friendly - They make you feel wanted !

Since they knew we were there for a Birthday, they generously presented my partner with a bottle of Moet at midnight which was a really nice touch.

Good the fact that late on, you can just jump to the front of the queue to get back in. Once you're done partying, at least it's not far to stumble to your bed - There is even a lift for those that can't quite work out how the stairs work at 5am !

We would definitely recommend it and would stay there now when ever we are in Brighton.

As others have said, the only complaint that people could possibly give would be about the noise but if you are after a quiet romantic weekend, go and stay somewhere quiet ! Don't stay above a party club and then complain that you can't get any sleep :-)

Breakfasts are absolutely fabulous (sweetie) and just what you need after a heavy night !

Room Tip: Get a sea view if you want things to see and don't mind it a bit noisy. Get a back room if you...

Just returned from my second stay at Legends Hotel in Brighton.

The staff are all cheerful and helpful - check in and at breakfast.

The breakfast is superb and is highly recommended - much better than what one usually experiences in a British seaside town.

The rooms (there were a few of us staying so I've seen a few of them!) were clean and crisp with modern decor; well maintained and equipped; cleaned each day and were bright and airy. My room had a lovely sea view. The downside of this was that the noise from the road (and from night-time revelers at the club downstairs!) could be a bit a loud. However, having stayed here before I arrived with ear-plugs to hand and they more than blocked out the noise :-)

If I had once suggestion it would be that all the tables at breakfast can only comfortably accommodate two. There were three of us - so one of us had to sit alone.

Overall would definitely stay again - certainly competes very well with other (sometimes more expensive) hotels in Brighton.

Room Tip: Rooms without a seaview would be quieter as they're away from the main road; also room on higher...

loved every moment, staff were welcoming and accommodating, room amazing and spotless, breakfast great, whole experience fabulous! Matt was so helpful and made our stay. I couldn't speak more highly of the hotel. Had read some of the reviews before and was worried about noise but as a middle aged couple my husband and I had no problems at all. the location is wonderful and the sea views breathtaking. Would highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again. Thank you for making our stay so great.

nothing negative to say at all.

Room Tip: Room 308 marvellous

bought raffle tickets in August & won a weekend at Legends. Booked weekend with no
problems. thought I'd be allocated a sub-standard room as wasn't paying but wasn't the case.

Was given an amazing room. sparkly clean (208) with double-frontage views of the sea.. amazing!! thanks guys. forgot to tip the cleaner, sorry.

Chilled out bar, no problems with noise from the nightclub.

Matt & the staff are extremely friendly, can't fault any of the staff, all lovely. Breakfast tasty, location fabulous, will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: room 208 for the view

Very pleasent short-stay at this hotel. Room was small, but adequate. Breakfast included in price was great, staff were very nice & helpful. Tea & coffee maker in room was really great.

There were only two negative issues, which were connected. 1) The traffic noise from the main road was quite bad, 2) The room was so small & stuffy, with no ventilation apart from window, so had to keep window open. I think rooms at the back may not have had this problem.

Of course the solution was to use ear-plugs, which considering the value for money was fine!

I stayed here for my sisters birthday - 5 girls all straight and we had an absalutely fantastic time!! Perfect place to stay whether you are gay of straight!
All staff are very friendly and accomodating at all times, the rooms are lovely - clean and modern!! Breakfast in the morning was much needed and very yummy!
We even went and partied in the club 'Basement' in the basement of legends and it was great fun! Amazing atmosphere, everyone having a great time! I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone!
