“Love the Tapas Style!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Dropped in for lunch on a visit to Brighton as we couldn't stand the endless fish and chip shops. Great little spot and the tapas style is perfect for sharing. We had 5-ish dishes between the two of us which was a good amount.
The food was sensational - great flavours, fresh ingredients... seriously delicious. Great attentive service.
If you're sick of the fish and chips, get in here for a change of scenery!

“Good location and yummy food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Lovely little restaurant well situated in the lanes. Food was delicious, we have eaten here a couple of times before. Not bad pricewise either. Nice staff. I had a veggie green thai curry which was really good.

“popped in for lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Decided on the spur of he moment to eat here. Decided as it was lunch to try 3 starters.
Noticed table mats were sticky on one side checked 2 when i thought it might have been just mine.
Ordred papaya salad obviously a traditional thai dish! It should be hot..and very fresh..it was the best thing but not outstanding. The owners would not go wrong to take themselves to Thai Connection for lunch to try their green papaya salad which scores more highly for me. It was a meager portion too...the tomatoes were icy like from the fridge and felt like they might have been hanging about a bit so it was okay.
The soup tom yum i suppose, was not right the stock appeared to be carelessly made in my opinion ...maybe even a quick stock cube soup rather than a considered blend of flavors built up - i ordered mushroom it came to the table with chicken in it which i i returned having thought some pieces of flat rubbery chicken were exotic mushrooms...the soup came back but the temperature now rendered it almost inedible. i took it home in a doggy bag added some other stuff to it and it was okay this also gave the flavor time to develop next day.
The 3 dumplings were quite good but even for a starter this is not going to satisfy anyone - what about pushing the boat out and daring to offer 4 dumplings for the price.
The rice was perfectly cooked - so many places mess this up, and the quality of rice also spot on. i really enjoyed it.
Not quite on the ball greeting and saying goodbye.
Was not sure if the mats were going to receive the steam cleaning they needed en masse ...as the chap i told looked non pluss.
a few cobwebs up high `i am sure too..possibly the restaurant could be smartened up to look slicker decor wise..possibly the floor..
