Ate here last week. I had the spicy pork balls and veggie crumble. Hubby had the cod gougons and sole. All lovely. Service really friendly and welcoming. I had been unwell earlier in the day and was unable to finish my main. The waiter asked was there a problem with the food...I said no but they later took it off the bill...which was kind. This is partly pub, partly restaurant....but mainly restaurant. It is a nice, comfortable space and there is little they could do to improve it. Balance between food and service is very good. Nice place if you want good food off the beaten track in Brighton.
