“What a choice, and great value at lunchtime”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Been here now a few times and the quality and choice Is very good. Lunchtime during the week is the best value, as the evening and weekend costs seem unreasonably too high compared to lunchtime.

The choice is great, some vegetarian, and lots of Chinese, Japanese, and indian food to choice from. There is a great choice of starters, soup, ribs, prawns, wings, and freshly made sushi.

There is a curry counter complete with popadoms, and nan and all the usual stuff such as sweet and sour, egg fu yung, braised mushrooms, various rice, and even chips and sausages. The salads are also very fresh, and there is a great choice of deserts, including fresh fruit, ice cream, and even a chocolate and white chocolate fountain with marshmallows.

The interior is enormous and like being inside a cruise liner, and there are plenty of staff, and the service is good.

“Fantastic food , let down by a terrible service!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013 via mobile

This place looks fantastic and the food really was very good. It was also brilliant value for money.

Unfortunately it was let down by literally the worst staff I have ever come across! They didn't seem to care at all about the place or customers and their experience. I can only put this down to the fact they seem to have a lot of large groups of drunk people come in , which was pretty overbearing and slightly intimidating, and they may be used to this clientele.??

They measured the kids, made us pay before getting a table... And with a screaming newborn and 2 hungry under 7 's was annoying. They said drinks would be taken to the table and as we went to find one they just left them on the counter and had no idea what to do with them.

Overall this is a restaurant that with some service ( as u literally get none) does have great potential , unfortunately it's not an experience I will repeat due to the lack of it!

“Just gets better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

We enjoy visiting "Days" with friends and arrive early to make the most of the 2 and a half hours before they close. There is so much choice from Sushi, Chinese, Thai and Indian with all the extras, you pay £7.99 for lunch weekdays and can eat as much as you would like and in which order you prefer!!! especially when you see the choice of desserts...mmmmmmmm. There are 2 chocolate fountains and lots of sweets and cakes to dip in, ice creams, fruit, and gateaus. It is housed in the old ABC cinema in East Street and well worth a visit.

“Restaurant visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

I visited this restaurant for first time on 6th October 2013 with my granddaughter and her boyfriend and found a very good selection of well prepared food, oriental and indian. with a good choice of desserts. The food was no better or worse than any takeaway Ive visited and at the weekend £12.99 each for as much food as you can eat is very good value. The drinks however are not such a good deal. Large orange juice and lemonade £2.80 each and small apple juice £1.60, just eat and go for a drink in the pub next door afterwards.I will be back.

“Great Buffet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Whilst working in Brighton, I stumbled on this restaurant.

The selection of food was excellent and it was of a very high standard (I find buffets can be quite poor but this one was excellent). There was a large selection of starters, mains, which could be cooked fresh. There was also a large selection of deserts and my personal favourite the jars and jars of sweets!

The restaurant was busy but they found us a table and the service was quick and friendly.

The cost was about £13 for dinner and £3 for a pint of beer (which was cheaper than most of the pubs locally!)

I was very impressed and if I return to Brighton I will definitely eat here again. Top marks!
