We decided to go to Brighton Marina for a Friday lunch, nothing special just hoping for a nice reasonably priced meal. For those who don't know the area of Brighton Marina restaurants, they are all crammed into one area, all are chains with people walking past enjoying the boats and atmosphere- no problem there apart from the noise and number of people. Well i notice a discrete sign saying Hotel Seattle two courses for £10. I had eaten here several times on business occasions so remembered that the food was good so we tried it. To get to the restaurant you go into the hotel and onto a balcony overlooking all the boats and views without the people and noise. The menu is limited to three choices of each course for £10 or you can eat well al-la carte with £5-6 starters and £12-18 mains. We chose the £10 and both had fish and chips with very good puddings. The fish and chips were fine and the puddings great, but i defy anyone to find a better setting on a sunny day than this restaurant and enjoy good food away from the crowds and noise at Brighton Marina.
