Very well run pub, one of the best in brighton. They keep their good selection of ales very well especially the bishop's finger. In the winter there is always a real fire and the seating is varied and comfortable. Staff are efficient, professional and friendly. I have not tried the food but the portions look large. My only criticism is that it is quite highly priced for beers, even for expensive Brighton, which is why I tend to only have one or two drinks before going to cheaper places
