“Love this hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2011

Unique futuristic design in both rooms and communual areas. Huge spacious rooms with free Wifi DVD player, mini bar and built in speakers for MP3 player.
Continental breakfast if very high quality with freshly baked pastries, fresh roast coffee and I would highly recommend the vegetable fritatta.
Cocktails in Merkaba bar are excellent (more expensive than most palces in Brighton, but they're worth it!) and the food in Chilli Pickle Indian Restaruant is the best Indian food I've had outside India.
If that doesn't suit your taste there are numerous chain and independent bars and restaurants on the surrounding streets.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms have full width windows overlooking the street/Jubilee Square.

First time to Brighton first time to the My Hotel Group, it certainly won't be the last.
fantastically friendly staff, great location just 10 minutes of everywhere, we had the Bamboo Suite it was amazing and the bed was sooo comfortable. The cocktail bar was a hive of activity very busy with a great atmoshere where cocktails were being set alight on the bar.
We left it too late to get into the Indian Restaurant Chilli Pickle which has a fab reputation, so if you want to eat there book in advance.

Clean and tidy, great location for everything 10 minutes in any direction and you have all you could need.
The boys in the bar are very friendly and definitley some of the best cocktails i have tasted.
Will go back on our next visit to Brighton.

My second visit to this quite distinct hotel. Welcoming, polite staff, good location and reasonably priced in this day and age, though my upgrade to the superior double (I had made an error booking) left we wondering what the difference was. Irons and ironing boards are a useful touch. The beds are very comfortable, though the design of the bedhead means your pillows keep disappearing down a gap which is a wee bit annoying. And WHY is the bathroom shelf angled downwards so that everything you out on it falls off!! A funky step too far. I echo the remarks about the "open plan" bathroom but I guess it depends on how well you know the person you are staying with..let's just say you will know a lot more about them and their personal habits when you leave! The cocktail bar is trendy enough but was seriously understaffed when I tried to get a drink. Cocktails take a LONG time to make and in the meantime everyone else just has to wait. It was so bad I left to get a drink somewhere else. But, all in all, a reliable and popular alternative to some of the tired hotels about town.

I stayed here for a romantic getaway, and it was an enjoyable experience, the hotel was fresh and clean and rather funky. The staff were pleasant and obliging. There was a friendly ambience in the bar and a good cocktail selection. We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot comment on food. The hotel is in an excellent location, lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep, it’s beside the theatre district, and shopping in the Lanes, and The Royal Pavilion is a short stroll around the corner. The rooms are small, with very little shelf space or hanging space, my partner didn’t like the open plan bathroom with the frosted glass door to the loo. We did have tea/coffee facilities, IPod connection, flat screen TV and DDV player, and free access to the hotel DVD collection. I would recommend My Hotel for a short stay, but bring very little luggage with you, and be on good terms with who you are sharing with, because privacy is limited.

I booked into the Carousel suite Myhotel Brighton and had one of the most relaxing and pleasant stays ive ever had in a UK hotel.. The staff were incredibly polite, warm and genuinely welcoming. I was booked into the Carousel suite which was far more luxurious than their picture showed. The website picture didnt do the room justice and some of the reviews just sounded petty. The suite also includes a stream room come shower which just drenches you. I love a good shower and this was excellent as it is also a stream room. A real treat after a long day exploring Brighton. There were flowers in the room which were a lovely touch as i was told they were standard. The Mac computer i didnt use or touch. One of the other nice features of the room is you can plug in your ipod to speakers that are in the ceiling. The room had a massive plasma telly as well. Hopefully this review and the pictures i upload will make you want to spend that bit extra because trust me, it was worth it. I've stayed in suites double this price and not half as good. I just hope its available next time i visit as i'd be gutted not to be staying there when im in Brighton. Only downside was there was no room service food available but i got told that a local business would deliver any sort of food i wanted.

Room Tip: Always ask how much to upgrade as Myhotel were brilliant and went out of their way to offer the best...

My Fianceé and I stayed at in Carousel suite, what a fantastic room (the pictures on the website don't do it justice). All the staff were very helpful and always smiling, a great team you have Adam.
The bar is good fun with very tasty cocktails. Lovely little touches during our stay made it a night to remember.
We hope to be back soon.
