We popped in here without a reservation on a Sunday lunchtime and we were quite surprised at how quiet it was. Alas no room for us outside. We had 3 courses. The french onion soup was nice but rather sweet for me. My friend was less pleased with his mozarella salad and would have like something more traditional. Mains were very pleasant. I had chicken which was moist, but rather small. The mash, gravy, and thigh nugget was lovely. My friend enjoyed his pork roast. My dessert was the crowning glory! White chocolate cheesecake, with candied nuts, salted caramel and vanilla ice cream. It was splendid, but very rich! Service was a little slow, but quite friendly.
