Pleasantly surprised how good this new concept Premier Inn was. Stayed either side of a short break to Guernsey, sailing from nearby Weymouth. The hotel is fairly new and despite being surrounded by construction works as it is situated in the old Brewery Quarter in Dorchester and the limited underground parking, it turned out to be a very good experience. Rather than being attached to a Brewer's Fayre or Beefeater it has its own "in-house" restaurant which served decent quality food in a pleasant airy atmosphere. No draught beer available on the bar though which was very disappointing. The room was, as with all Premier Inns, of a high standard, clean and comfortable with all needs catered for.
