After reading some reviews we were a bit worried about staying here, but were pleasantly surprised. Reception were very helpful, the room was very clean, bed comfy, sea view lovely. The breakfast set us up for the day-juice,cereal, toast, cooked, tea or coffee, more toast and tea! The restaurant ( a la carte)and service did seem a bit pretentious ,more for a modern kind of place. Our shower looked rubbish but was actually powerful and hot.The hotel could do with up dating, and seemed a little overpriced- i think we were paying for the view, but don't let this put you off. Its about 15 minute walk to town and pier, Bournemouth International Centre, and Pavillion ,far enough away from the noise and close enough to walk to everything. We could use facillities at adjoining hotel- bar and snacks as ours was closed during day till 6pm, though this may change for summer hols.
