“The hotel has a quint old world quality feel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

My wife and I stayed at the Tower House Hotel for 3 nights during a recent business trip to Bournemouth in October 2012.

The hotel has a quint old world quality feel to it. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The hotel is located in a small quite road.

The staff were friendly and efficient.

Our room had a modern four poster bed in it and for us it was just perfect for the purposes of our stay and the meals that we had at the hotel were varied, well cooked, flavoursome and very reasonably priced.

I can understand it for the purposes of organisation and planning, but we found it difficult to have to order our evening meal before pm each day. Having said that the food was excellent.

The hotel has 2 areas for parking cars. A small area at the front of the hotel and a larger area at the rear of the hotel which was really handy.

This was our first stay at the Tower House Hotel. We would stay with you again next time we are working in Bournemouth.

Room Tip: If I recall correctly we stayed in room 212 which had the four poster bed in it.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. Its always nice to hear back from guests about their holidays. We always try and take on board what guests have suggested in order to continually improve.
Its great that there was so much about your holiday that you liked, the staff, the welcome, the food to just mention a few. We understand it can be quite difficult to place your dinner order so early in the day, we do this in order to save waste. So hopefully you agree the end justifies the means.
Thanks again and we hope to see you again!

This is a family owned and run hotel, where the owner greets you on arrival and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast in the elegant dining room was freshly cooked, and delightfully served. I spent four nights here on my own and was made to feel most welcome. Great cliff side location within walking distance of town.

We had a two night break here whilst at a BIC Conference. Really friendly staff, wholesome food and pleasant room with four poster bed. Value for money would be hard to beat and very well located for west bay and town.

We enjoyed a two night stay here in February, it was excellent value for money and the staff are all exemplary in the service they offer.
Don't come expecting fictitious decor or 5 star hospitality but do come expecting a well presented traditional British hotel accompanied by good food, good service and good value for money.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We pride ourselves on being one of few traditional, british seaside hotels left. It is always nice when customers compliment that. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Our staff, incluing the chef are a great team and we thank you again for such kind words.

Just home from a wonderfull 2 night break .. To start with I paid £25 a night so £50 for a single room for 2 nights. When I arrived in my room it had a double bed and the room was very spacious. I went to reception and asked why I was given a double room and Nigel the part time receptionist informed me the owner always gives the best rooms availible, so I was very happy. The toilet was spotless the bed very comfortable. the tv was freeview sky which was great. The staff. Everybody was very very polite always smilling.. Breakfast was tasty.. hmmm I'm trying to think of something negative but I can't .. Well if i'm back in bournemouth I know where ill be staying..

Room Tip: They will just give you the best availible ....

Had a long weekend away to celebrate Sue,s birthday.Stayed 3 nights. The welcome was second to none and the family run business was so freindly especially the owner who really makes you welcome and has a genuine concern for your comfort and wellbeing . We can really recommend the Full English breakfast it sets you up for the day.We to took in a show at the pavillion which is easilly reached by walking as is the town centre.Set in a quiet spot the room was spacious and very comfortable and clean and there is plenty of parking and easy access to town.If going to another show or just a weekend away will DEFINATELY stay again

Stayed at at the Tower House Hotel for a couple of nights visiting Bournemouth to see a concert at the pavillion, and what a pleasure it was.We had a lovely big room with a sea view, comfy bed,all spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely pleasant .I instantly took to the owner because of his genuine effort to welcome us,the service and breakfast were faultless.I was also impressed with the information packs in the rooms, not only regarding whatd on but also a history of the hotel as well. There is also ample parking and commands a lovely quiet location,I have stayed in numerous hotels in Bournemouth over many years, and would place this one in my top two, will be back next year for definite, you should be proud of your efforts in making guests visits so comfortable!

Room Tip: Room 14 was lovely, plenty of room and a sea view.
