The good points:
Ground floor has had some money spent on it. The evening meal and breakfast were both well cooked and tasty. Staff, although speaking very little English were pleasant and polite.
The bad points:
The day I arrived there was no hot water. Had to have a cold shower. Other guests were also complaining of the same. Next morning, there was hot water from the wash basin tap, but the hot water from the shower was no more than a drip. If you tried adding some cold to get a tepid temperature with a bit of pressure, you were out of luck, it was still cold with a hot drip not mixed in. Second cold shower!
The cooridors are tatty, the carpets are threadbear and tatty. The paint on my room's door was chipped and looked like the room had been forced at some point. No 'do not disturb sign'.
Water in the bathroom is signed 'not drinking water'. There is no bottled water supplied, so how do you brush your teeth?
The average:
twin room, two single beds. Reasonably comfortable. Bedroom furniture was fairly modern and in good state of repairs. Bathroom had been recently tiled and hilst rough around the edges, was ok. Every where was clean.
In summary, not a place I would stay at, or recommend. Too old, not enough money spent on it. Must be better places.
