After reading the reviews on TA, I decided to book the Beaumont Room, at 24 The Park.
With such positive feedback from previous guests, naturally I had high expectations. All of which, were exceeded.
If you need to travel to Bournemouth, you have to stay here. And, and even if you don't, make this your reason to visit Bournemouth. It is the perfect place to relax and get truly spoilt.
From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, both Fiona and Chris, were phenomenal hosts, demonstrating perfectly, the art of attentive hospitality.
As a Christmas gift, I actually took my best friend away to Bournemouth, and I had spoke to Fiona about the possibility of organising a few things to make our stay especially personal, in lieu of the occasion. The attention to detail, coupled with such wonderful touches (too many to list), were breathtaking, and to say that we were made to feel special, is a huge understatement!
The house is stunning, with a distinct sense of opulence upon entrance, and this theme continues throughout, whilst being careful to extend an invitation, to actually enjoy, and utilise the practical elegance, of number 24. (There is nothing worse than feeling as though your staying somewhere, that should be kept under glass at the British Museum!)
Breakfast was outstanding. Not just because of the quality of ingredients, or indeed the talent of Fiona, as a cook, but the sense of occasion that you feel, as you sit to dine in front of the beautiful gardens and of course the effort and style that is executed at the huge table. The presentation of everything had been well thought, and you can't help but feel, this is somewhere, I'm definitely coming back to!
All in all, a most wonderful experience, and even though I've been back for a few days, I'm still talking about the place!
Thank you Fiona and Chris, we can't wait to return, Libby and Richard
