“Simply the best place to stay in Southbourne/Bournemouth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

This is the 4th year my family has staid at this most excellent "Home". Pam and Jim take excellent care of their guests from the warm welcome, convenient checking in and out times, advice on what's on to the most superb breakfast choice. (I have a growing family that would eat them out of house and home if allowed).

Nothing is too much trouble. the rooms are spacious clean and flexible to the stay required. from single to family rooms. you are free to come and go day and night. The large lounge is available to rest in after a hard day at the beach or shopping. In room entertainment and tea making facilities. Wi Fi available. The children want to move here permanently. Having staid in other hotel guest houses in previous years, we found this jewel in the crown and now this is our only choice of accommodation for holidays.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent

I have used this family-run Bed and Breakfast on several occasions when I've had to attend courses in Bournemouth.
I've found the place to be clean, with pleasant surroundings and ease of access to local shops.
Pam and Jim (the hosts) are very hospitable and the breakfasts always very tasty.

Very comfortable, quiet and clean lodge with friendly owners.
Delicious cooking. Not far from train station. Close to sea beach (about 5 minutes walk). Straight buss to Bournemouth and Pool.
Would recommend to everyone.

Room Tip: Big wash room, light and clean room.

I don't normally write reviews but thought I would make the effort this time because I think Pam & Jim deserve praise for their efforts! They're so nice and helpful and keep everything so clean! Plus the breakfast was so lovely and just what me and my husband needed for the long day ahead of us! So glad we chose them over the faceless Premier Inn as you feel that the money is going to someone who appreciates your business! Highly recommended!

This bed and breakfast is located in Southbourne. Their place is immaculately clean. We occupied the family room which was located in the attic or top floor. There was a tv, coffee, tea, 2 single beds, 1 queen bed, bathroom with a shower. They also provided soap and shower gels which always comes in handy. Also, a couch with a coffee table for someone to rest their feet after a good day of walking.
This place has been very well kept in terms of service and maintenance.
A warmly cooked breakfast provided by the staff in is always a great start to anyone's morning.

Provides pretty much all you need in a B&B and we would definitely stay there again. We had a lovely few days in Bournemouth and really enjoyed our stay at Beech Grove Lodge. We had a very decent sized clean room, quiet and restful nights sleep, there was a selection of breakfast options available, and though we didn't meet Jim Pam was very friendly. Also as it is on a road just off the high street it is very close to all the amenities you may need. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay for a few days.

We have stayed on 2 occaisions, and really enjoyed it. Nice owners, always helpful - whether its small requests i.e bowls or cuttlery for the room or help with local guides. Recommend to anyone. Pam and Jim are excellent hosts. Will be back again one day.
