Stayed for 3 nights from the 10th March. Room was very clean and comfortable. Arrived at the hotel at 1.30pm and was allowed straight into room by a very pleasant receptionist. Great location, only 5 mins walk from the centre of Bournemouth. Was able to park for the whole of our stay.
Would of given full marks for this hotel but neither the kettle or hairdrier had been P.A.T tested since July 2011, 6 months out of date and the kettle didn't switch off automatically.

My husband and I stayed at this premier inn on Saturday as we were going to an Olly Murs concert at BIC ( which was excellent!). We arrived early and the room was ready for us - spotlessly clean and comfortable. The lady on reception was very helpful as were the staff in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast. We wanted to have a quick bite to eat before we went out and the two course meal deal was excellent value ( and served quickly!).Very tasty as was the breakfast we enjoyed early on Sunday morning. Would definitely recommend!

Premier Inn is Premier Inn - they give you just what you need at a reasonable price.

Two things to say about this one - Parking can be tight, but there IS parking (unlike as advertised) with about 25 more spaces round the back. If you don't mind a 5 min walk there is plenty in adjoining streets too and (in march 2013) it only seemed to be a problem parking in the Hotel car park on Friday evening. Don't let this put you off - it's not as big an issue as other reviewers state.

Manager was a little overly inquisitive. Taking a friendly interest is one thing, but an unsmiling interrogation as to your intentions is a bit much. Should stick to explaining the service and wishing a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back have less road noise

We booked for three nights and on the third afternoon arrived back at the hotel at 14.00 to find that there was no parking even though the PremierInn guide saiys there is.

The nearest secure parking we could find was in Bournemouth town centre and it costs £11.90 for 24 hrs.

Of much greater concern was the fact that the hotel appear to let people park on double yellow lines and hashed areas that are marked out to permit fire access to the rear of the hotel.

If you are travelling by bus then this hotel is OK but otherwise I would give it a miss

We stayed here for 3 nights at £19 per night which was exceptional value for a large, clean room with very comfortable bed and spotless bathroom with very powerful shower. Unfortunately on arrival the room was very cold and we found that the heating / air conditioning was not working. We reported it to Reception straight away and were told that the maintenance people did not work on Sundays so we were given a portable heater which was not very powerful. The next evening, on arriving back at the hotel after a day out, we found the heating still wasn't working. We hadn't left the portable heater on as we expected the heating to be repaired, so it was cold again. We checked with Reception and were told the problem hadn't been reported to maintenance the day before so they provided us with a more powerful heater but this unfortunately made the air in the room very dry. The heating was not repaired at all during our stay and I suspect this is an ongoing problem in the hotel as they offered to move us to one of 2 other rooms but found the heating was not working in those rooms either. Unfortunately we did not sleep very well as we had to have the windows open due to the dry air from the fan heater (even after it had been switched off) and the noise from the traffic outside was then more noticeable.
To their credit, on checking out they asked if we had had any problems and I mentioned they above. They apologised and said they would refund one night's payment which I was happy with and we left. Later that morning, they phoned me to apologise again and said they had decided to refund our total payment for the 3 nights!

We stayed here on the 24.02.2013 and had a room for the £19 deal. Staff where friendly on check in and check out and found the hotel to be very clean. Only issue was the heating system as very loud and you could not get a happy temperature of the room, either too cold or too hot. Hotel is ideal for visiting bournemouth as close the town centre and lovely restuarants close by.
