“Good quality food; will return”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

Tasty, non-pretentious dishes served efficiently. Good value for money. We had the biryani dishes - something I normally avoid - and I was pleasantly surprised. The Peshwari Nan was also very good

“A warm welcome awaits”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

This lovely little restaurant is situated a little to the west of Bournemouth town centre & is well worth a visit. If you like Nepalese food & a warm welcome this is the place for you. The owner quite often waits at table & nothing is too much bother. He will always find you a table, even on busy nights.
Easily found off the Poole Road by the traffic lights, or if you have sat nav....

“Rather disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

We visited this place on multiple recommendations on TripAdvisor and other sites. Fairly early on a Friday evening so we had the place to ourselves most of the time.

Ordered a main each with two kinds of rice as well as garlic naans.

The main dishes were okay but nothing special and rather bland. Rice were fine - but the garlic naans had so little garlic on them that Dracula could easily have eaten them! Add to that the fact that they had not been baked for long enough - by far the worst naans I have ever had.

For the quality of food, the prices are a bit on the high sides, particularly for drinks, which were just poured from 2 litre bottles.

Service was okay but nothing more. Surprisingly slow by the time the number of diners had risen to six...

Namaste! Had a great meal here last weekend when a group of us sampled the delights of the menu- a good mixture of meat and veggie dishes. The flavours and variety were amazing the service was excellent and we all enjoyed the whole meal. the staff were extremely warm, friendly and welcoming.

“Lovely family run place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Been going to this place for years now. It's not posh, but is always filled with regulars who like Nepalese food. It is run by a delightful couple and they are always warm and welcoming. Some great choices on the menu if you want something different from the normal Indian type food. Well worth a visit.
