A deservedly popular (and therefore busy) little restaurant on Totnes High St. Everything there was simple but effective. Food choice was varied and good. Being vegetarian often choices are predictable and boring (veggie lasagne or cheese and vegetable bake.....zzzz zzzzz!) and lack care and imagination. Bistro 67 was a refreshing change. Lots of choice from spicy beanburger, full veggie breakfast to crepés and lots more. We were told on arrival to anticipate a 20 minute or so delay given the lack of tables (which we took as a good recommendation initself) and that proved to be the case so I sampled a local brew called Pheasant Plucker-very pleasant. 20 mins later our crepés arrived - delicious and well worth the wait.
The staff were friendly (even whilst rushed off their feet) and very accommodating with our retriever. Surroundings are simple but clean and supportive of local artists. Furniture appeared to be reclaimed and perfect for its surroundings.
Would we recommend it? Absolutely. We finish our holiday tomorrow and are contemplating a reservation there for this evening again - that must say enough.
