Fresh beautifully shaped scones in a variety of flavours, wholemeal with herbs, gluten free, and heart shaped plain scones.Homemade jam(not often found these days)-gooseberry and strawberry.Beautifully presented fresh salad.Delicious home made chutney and fruit dressings.Good chips with main course, vegetables a bit disappointing.
Creamy celariac and potato soup and cheese on toast (my daughters dislike celariac but said this soup was delicious)
Cakes that are rather too large in portion but really traditional with plenty of variety.Coffee, fruit, lemon, victoria, and a gluten free choice.
As others have said a delightful setting on the cliff, nice for a walk afterwards or just to sit and admire the view.
The china and cake stands and overall angel theme are appealing.
The service was a little slow but made up for by the freshness and fine quality.
Good choice of products to buy that have been made locally and that I presume are the products they use.
Overall a lovely way to spend a relaxing time with special people. Not cheap but excellent value for money.
I would definitely recommend to the cake and afternoon tea fan.
This is probably the best cream tea I have seen in a long time.
Portions are a little on the large side,so often people are wasting good food which is a great shame.
A good point is that there are small portions for children and I think they should advertise that could be the same for oaps!
Well Done to who ever inspired this restaurant..
