Just had a lovely family weekend away staying at Trafalgar House with the owners Barbara and Graham really looking after us. What a lovely warm welcome we had along with a delicious afternoon tea of sandwiches and home made cakes! The rooms were so nice, well kept, and clean. The comfortable beds also had such soft sheets I didnt want to get up. A lovely snack and fruit hamper for that extra touch in each room. The furnishings were very tasteful (we had 3 rooms) every room was furnished individually and all were really nice, from the standard double to the master king room. Good location for a good nights sleep but close enough to the beach and shops and theatre. We spent one lovely evening playing board games in the welcoming guest lounge. The breakfasts were delicious, cereal, fruit, nuts, yoghurt, toast and jam etc and variations of a full english cooked to order. My in laws have now booked to go back for a whole week in the summer. Think thats says it all. Thanks Barbara and Graham for a lovely weekend you really go that extra mile. Hello from us all to Tess!

Used a voucher purchased online for my girlfriends 21st birthday. Barbara and Graham are so, so helpful and polite. Always recommending places to go and see.
Bedroom was amazing (4 poster bedroom) clean and comfortable. Will be back at some point!

Thank you for making our stay so good.

Stayed only one night but treated like a regular valued customer. The quality of this Hotel is outstanding, the bedroom was excellent. The Hotel owners couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was fantastic quality.
Would stay here again without question.
A good walk to the centre and quite hilly.

Girlfriend and i stayed here on a short trip to Torquay. Place was nice and clean and staff were really friendly. I'd stay here again anyway, Local Harbourside with restaurants and pubs etc. is about a 15 min walk (but a pleasant walk.) We got the place with a discount offer but would of been worth the full asking price.

We too encountered Trafalgar House via a voucher offer & having booked a few hotels this way we can honestly say that this is most certainly the best! From arrival to departure we were looked after so well by Barbara & Graham. Nothing was too much trouble & they were always on hand if we needed any assistance. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the breakfast was superb (perfect poached eggs!!), as was the afternoon tea we were greeted with on arrival. The hotel is furnished to a really high standard & there are even downstairs rooms for those with mobility difficulties ( for which we were very grateful!)
Overall we had a wonderful stay & will certainly be going back in the near future . Barbara & Graham are such warm & welcoming hosts - we highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Barbara and Graham are first class hosts, extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the wider area. The hotel was fabulous - spotlessly clean and comfortable. Special touches including the welcoming (very tasty) home-made afternoon tea, which was beautifully presented, and a lovely basket of fruit and goodies for your room, set it apart from other hotels. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, which was excellently cooked to order, following a selection of cereals and fresh fruit and yoghurts - again beautifully presented. A very well deserved 5 star hotel; absolutely flawless. Congratulations to wonderful hosts in your fabulous hotel - a lot of thought and hard work have obviously gone into making this place so great! Thank you for making our short stay so enjoyable; we will return. Very highly recommended.

Thank you so very much for your lovely positive comments following your stay with us. It really is good to know that the time and effort we put into the "fine detail" is appreciated. We are not actually "star rated" by an official body, but, again it is great to see that you perceived it as "5 Star". Thank you very much and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future
