Lovely welcome from the hosts and their little dog Patsy. Beautifully decorated b&b and we felt right at home from the start. We had a relaxing stay and cant wait to return. Highly recommended stay and we can not wait to return in the future.

We were met by the lovely Julian and Andy who took us to the beautifully decorated lounge and were made teas and coffee's with home made brownies. The lounge was stunning and immaculate. Our bedroom was beautiful and the extremely comfy bed ensured we had a greats night sleep. Can not wait to return here and stay in this wonderful B&B.

Room Tip: Broadsands room, tv in bathroom with free standing bath. Simply stunning!

We've started stopping at Torquay, to break up our Journey to Shropshire from Cornwall. We had stopped here last August, and knew that planned changes to the B & B meant it was worth a visit.

Not quite sure where to start, as there is so much attention to detail gone in to the refurbishment.

First impression were great the B & B looked great against the Blue sky back drop. Upon reciption we were greeted by the owners Andy & Julian. We we've given a fob key which was so easy to use to get in our room and into reception.

We Stayed in the Room called "Goodrington" there was nothing you could want for. There is a massive bed with a beautiful head board, and it was so comfortable to sleep in, and then some of the other attentions to detail that i must mention because they are so unique and I've never seen any where else before, is the Apple TV, this was great to view some holiday snaps that we had take in cornwall via air play (at bed time i also watched a movie of netflixs). And was also able to play my music to.

Being a technology guru i obviously love this feature - also you should notice from other reviews i always complete a wifi broadband test as i feel slow broadband is unacceptable these days, i got over 30 Mbps, which is approximately 29Mbps more than all the places I've stayed in the last 6 months.

There is a comprehensive that gives you every detail you could need a bout the B & B and the local area.

The room was also fitted with a silent fridge, i don't recall staying any where with a silent fridge in my room, again this was clearly the extra attention to detail that the owners had thought about, was also nice having fresh milk to. Most places have UHT.

Again the coffee and tea area had some real nice touches, with a coffee filter, and nice sections of teas, and not to mention the homemade cookies left in our room, being a keen home baker i was impressed with this.

The en suite bathroom, is so beautifully finished with a gorgeous shower, very powerful i only had it a quarter on, a toilet seat the self closes, a hided shaver charging point and lots of toiletries provided to which were "Elemis"

Apart from myself having a bug bear with broad band when i travel the other bug bear i have is with hair dryers, hence why i always take my own, however on this occasion the B & B had a decent Nicky Clarke hair drier - thank goodness.

Andy and Julian showed us the sun spot terrace on the front which we sat there on the saturday evening till almost 8pm in April. it was lovely sunny spot with a glass of wine. I must mention the B & B is run with a honesty box for drink that you can help your self to. These were also extremely great value, they appeared to be at the cost price of super markets.

The bedroom was fantastic but i couldn't finish the review with out mentioning my favourite room which was the lounge, so tasteful restored, had a very regency period feel, with a mini bar, beautiful flowers, and no TV, which personally i like and when i'd asked Julian why this was he'd rightly so mentioned every room has a large flat screen TV.

We order a take away for tea, recommend by Andy, i can't remember the name but it was also spot on, the only problem being we were so full that we couldn't manage a breakfast the next morning. Your will see from our previous stay the breakfast doesn't disappoint either.

Andy & Julian were polite and friendly and showered us there other rooms, which have even more unique features. To be honest you forget that your in a B & B and think your in a luxury chain of hotels as clearly no expense has been spared in this refurbishment.

A stay here is a must if your in Torquay. Thank you for another great stay, was so hard to imagine how you could improve on our previous visit.

Dear Dan

Thank you for taking the time to review our B&B a second time - and in such massive detail! We're glad you have now made Torquay a stopping off point on your way home from Cornwall.

I didn't realise guests check our broadband speed so I'm glad it was above the expected rate - we have a network to each room to ensure a fast and reliable wifi.

It's worth pointing out that one of our rooms does not have a silent fridge and this is in the bedroom. If this is important to you, it's best to check with us first. Also - we have a variety of different makes of hair dryer throughout the house, though all of them should be quite powerful.

We're glad you enjoyed food at the take away we recommended. There are a couple very close by - both of which you can also choose to eat in as you did which is ideal if you just want a quick and easy meal. There are food options in walking distance to please all tastes and pockets.

Thanks for uploading some photos, I'm sure other guests will find these useful.

We hope to see you again in the future.

Andy.

We recently stayed at The 25 Boutique B&B and are already planning when we can go back. Andy & Julian and Patsy (the dog) are fantastic hosts who immediately make us feel welcome and relaxed. The room we stayed in was quirky, beautifully decorated and had so many added extras you don't find anywhere else. We had homemade biscuits to go with our tea, a little pot of sweets to share whilst we watched a film on the rooms apple tv,there was also Netflix, an i-pad, TV's in the dressing room and bathroom it really was exquisite. The bathroom had mood lighting a great rainforest shower and little spa toiletries to use. The breakfast was wonderful we again were so amazed at the amount of individual extras like Andy's homemade yoghurt and smoothie shots. My partner has coleacs and Andy & Julian were able to cater for her without any hesitation, the full English breakfast was gluten free and they also had a selection of gluten free cereals to choose from. We were able to walk into Torquay town within 10minutes which was great as the open markets along the waterfront are a must to visit.when we had our booking confirmation we were sent a list of places to eat I'm and around Torquay with Andy & Julian's description of what type of foods avaliable which was really helpful especially for us needing a gluten free option. We were so relaxed at The 25 Boutique B&B that we will definitely be visiting again, we just don't know weather to try the other rooms or go back to see 'Frank' the zebra!

Hi

It's good to hear you found time to enjoy a film while you stayed with us. It's often important to spend quality time together & we try to make this as easy & comfortable as possible.

We always display gluten free cereals at breakfast and keep some GF bread in stock for toast. If we're made aware beforehand we can usually cater for special diets with some notice. We're glad you found the restaurant info we sent you useful.

It's lovely to see you got on with Frank so well! He's proving a real hit with guests.

Thanks for your review & we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Andy, Julian & Patsy.

After a recent scheduled trip to Lisbon was cancelled due to the French air traffic controllers going on strike, we decided to make the most of recent good weather in the UK and headed down to Devon. We booked The 25 via booking.com after seeing it had good reviews and we liked the styling from the pictures. We were not disappointed. Andy and Julian made us feel very welcome, and the room was very comfortable, Andy's home made biscuits are a treat and the breakfasts are excellent. It's in a good location, a nice short stroll past Torre Abbey and you are at the sea front. If you want to explore south Devon, Torquay is an excellent place to base yourself and I would recommend booking The 25 Boutique to make the trip that extra bit special. If you do book it, look out for the pictures of Andrew and Julian with the Duke Of Cambridge. If you ask they will tell you all about it. They also have a very useful recommended restaurants guide based on their experience. Which we found very useful when we stayed. The recommendations we used were very good.

Thanks Jason for your review.

Glad you enjoyed our little goodies like the homemade biscuits.

The best price is usually available via our own website not the one you used.

We did have the Duke of Cambridge at our last B&B several times which must demonstrate the quality we offer. Thanks for mentioning it.

Although we were sorry to hear your flights were cancelled, we hope we more than made up for the disappointment.

Best wishes.

Andy & Julian.

This was the first time we had visited Torquay and what a lovely surprise we had! Andy and Julian were great hosts - giving us some great ideas on places to visit and restaurants to go to. We had the Torre Suite with Frank the Zebra! The room had everything you could want and lots of lovely extras including fresh milk, homemade biscuits, mini-fridge, smart TV with mini ipad to surf the web or just their selection of movies on demand. There was a dressing room and large shower en-suite with a TV to make sure you don't miss your favourite programme while having a shower. Breakfast was lovely - lots of cold and hot choices to choose from and the sausages we had on our cooked breakfast were some of the nicest I've tasted. There's plenty of free parking at the B&B, which is a bonus for Torquay. They have thought of everything to make the stay as relaxing as possible and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something special by the sea.

Dear JJ

Thanks for the review. We're glad you enjoyed meeting Frank!

Thanks for mentioning all the little extras we supply as standard which you just don't find in other B&Bs. It's also great that you mentioned our ample free parking. It's always good to know you won't have the hassle of finding a parking spot when you arrive in a new town.

As public transport links are so good, lots of guests leave their cars here all week.

Thanks again.

Andy.

Having stayed at many B&B's in the Torquay area this is by far the best one. Excellent room, very clean. First class breakfast and Andy and Julian were excellent hosts. Will be making many more visits in the future.
