Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cimon and won't hesitate to return.
Staff were friendly and helpful and service was superb.
There was ample parking and torquay is only a five minute walk away.
Nice pool and outside drinking area.

Very friendly welcome from Adam and his staff. He gave us a quick tour of the guesthouse and some helpful local information.Room was very small but adequate as we literally just slept there.Bathroom was tiny which was ok for me but my much larger husband did find it a struggle to squeeze past the basin to use the loo!!Bedroom was well decorated and well equipped.Large choice for breakfast, cold buffet ie:cereal, fresh fruit, juices, jams etc plus the cooked menu which was very nice.Personally, I found the guesthouse quite dated and dreary with the exception of the breakfast room which felt light and airy, just my opinion!Compact car park at rear of guesthouse which is positioned on top of a hill with a pleasant 5-10 min walk down to the harbour area. All in all a pleasant stay but would definately require a larger room/bathroom if staying longer.

Room Tip: When a room is advertised as small/compact check out the exact size before booking.

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Cimon. Adam and Anita were friendly and welcoming and made our first family holiday with our young baby very enjoyable.

The junior family room was the perfect size for us; providing enough space for us to relax in the room. The pool was superb, a real sun trap, and the bar was great for an evening drink. The dining room is pleasant, the waitresses were very friendly and the breakfast tasty.

I'd highly recommend the Hotel Cimon to my friends, and would certainly stay there again.

We had a great time at the Hotel Cimon. We arrived before check in time and the manager was happy for us to leave our bags he then gave us a map and some good suggestions for things to do around Torquay. In the evening the children enjoyed playing with the toys in the play room and my son loved learning how to play chess from the manager (Adam). The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The swimming pool is a good size for adults and children and their are lots of floats and toys to use.
They are clearly very keen to attract the family market and I would highly recommend them. We will definitely return.
They even returned a toy we left behind in the post for us - great service.
Lovely friendly place.

We had a three night stay over the August bank holiday weekend. The owner, Adam, greeted us warmly on our arrival and we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. The room was overlooking the sea and had everything we needed with ample supplies of tea and coffee provided each day. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. We spent some time each day in the very pleasant bar area, where Adam was usually around to chat and answer all our queries about the area. Breakfast, each morning, was excellent, everything being of good quality and fresh. The location is ideal, just a short walk from Torquay town centre and seafront. I would like to thank Adam & Anita for looking after us and would recommend Hotel Cimon wholeheartedly.
