This is a wonderful hotel,what a jewel,stunning views,beautiful bedroom,superb cuisine every evening plus great entertainment.friendly efficient staff made our weekend memorable. It was indeed a little bit of heaven!

We went there on a Edwards coach trip with our sister and brother in law, to celebrate our anniversary. Stunning views overlooking Torbay. Rooms well maintained and comfortable. Exceptional meals morning and evening. Staff were courteous and helpful at all times (though on times appeared uncomfortable to interact on a more relaxed level). Entertainment was on a par with other establishments, though on Sunday evening both Jillie and Katy May were brilliant and had the whole room in fits of laughter. Well done Mark and the staff for making our stay an enjoyable one.

We are returning home today, after spending a wonderful weekend at the headlands, we are travelling with GB tours, all I can say first class trip, our driver Rodger is very very good, the tips have been lovely.
Now to the hotel, Mark and his team do a first class job, there isn't anything you could say negative about this hotel, food is out of this world, rooms kept to a very very high standard, entertainment was great, bar prices very good,
Thank you mark and team for making our stay so pleasurable,
Its our first time, but certainly won't be our last, just wished we hadn't got to go home

Our chefs do work very hard to produce the amazing food and everything is homemade using local produce were possible.

My family and friends have just returned from a revisit to the Headland Hotel with Ellen Smith coach tours 5 day Cosy Break, the Hotel was fantastic in every way on our 1st visit and could not be faulted this time. Hotel ,Food and Entertainment were all 1st class as were the waiters, staff and management. Looking towards our next visit at Christmas.

had a great break with daughter spoilt by my dress shirt being stolen out of room
just beware leaving things in room leaves a bad memory spoilt a lovely break.reported but no response hotel not interested so I won't be going back now and will warn people about room being robbed.

Just returned from another lovely 2 night break at this super hotel. The standard is of the highest quality in all areas and this hotel NEVER disappoints. On this occasion our waiter was Nikolazs( probably spelt incorrectly) and he offered impeccable service, a great asset to the hotel.The six course dinner on both nights was superb and being a valentines week-end the restaurant looked charming decorated with red roses and balloons. The journey down on the Friday was horrendous but as usual on our arrival we were welcomed with complimentary tea and coffee. On this occasion, our room was quite small(133) but adequate and with a sea-view (and bath )which we requested. For the price one pays, this hotel cannot be beaten. The location is great with incredible views and no passing traffic and the new car-park makes it far easier to park. If you are going to Torquay, look no further than the Headland !!

It is great to see that you have had yet another wonderful break with us and I would like to thank you for writing this very positive review. I am glad to hear that you rate the hotel so highly and that the very high standards were well appreciated.

Our restaurant and kitchen teams do work very hard, along with the rest of the staff, to make sure that your dining experiences are enjoyable and it is nice to see that your waiter gave you such good service and that you found the meals to be superb. I have shown this review to all and they do appreciate the lovely feedback.

The complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits is served to all our guests when they arrive at the hotel and I am sure it was needed after travelling to us in such bad weather conditions.

The new parking area at the hotel does provide a large improvement and after all of the efforts to get this work done it has made the parking far easier than before.

Your recommendation to others is delightful and we all look forward to seeing you again on your next return to The Headland.

My wife and I have just returned from a very enjoyable midweek break at the Headland.
We travelled by coach from Norfolk and despite red flood warnings had a safe journey and were met at the hotel with a welcoming drink and biscuits,to keep us going until dinner! Dinner each day was of six mouth watering courses, with plenty of excellent choice.
Breakfast too was excellent and served promptly to our table.
We had a room with a sea view and was warm and comfortable.
The staff were all helpful and courteous. Thanks to all of you..
A great place to stay despite the worst weather for many years!!!

We are very lucky with our location and do have some stunning views from many of the bedrooms and public areas, I am happy that your sea view room was warm comfortable for you.

Our Kitchen team do work very hard to produce the excellent meals and the lovely comments have been passed on to the head chef who is pleased that you enjoyed all of the food whilst you were here.
