I went to Torquay on a coach trip, my frst visit to the resort, and was a little disappointed when I first saw the hotel. I m a widow so obviously had booked a single room, which was awful. It was just about wide enough to fit a single bed in and smelled musty. However the bed was comfortable enough and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The food was good and the service was excellent. The staff were so friendly they made up for the awful room I was in. All in all I did enjoy my stay mainly because of my travelling companions and the wonderful staff. Oh and the entertainment was good too.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in June and had a great time, The Entertainment every night was excellent with a great atmosphere. Talking to the other guests it seemed the majority were regulars. The outdoor pool was nice although we also used the sauna and indoor pool at their sister hotel opposite. The food and service was very good and very hot... even the plate !! The room was a bit small but clean and contained all the basics. would we return again....we've booked for september!!

As said: lovely hotel, friendly people, and nice variety of food menus. There is an outdoor swimming pool (though it was too cold to use it when I stayed there), pool table, and the entertainment/singers were fantastic (espesially loved the electric guiar player on the Thursday night!) They have 7 nights of entertainment--not many hotels can boast the same.

I stayed there for 5 nights and the beds were comfy, though we found our room small and it had a constant dripping noise throughout the night. Other than that, I loved it. Also, hotel is clean and well-kept.

Situated within easy walking distance of main shopping street/seafront, though be warned--it may not be so good for disabled travellers--it has several large steps into the hotel front (though maybe they have a back entrance for wheelchairs?) There is a lift inside the hotel, which is useful when you're on the top floor like I was!

Would recommend it as a good medium-grade hotel.

Spent only 3 days at Inglewood, but food, entertainment, comfortable beds and uppermost nice company staying from Cambridge & St Helens, made it a very pleasant 3 days. From Belgrave Road, we were able to get around to various locations, because of the central position,it was also nice if you wished not to explore the area to sit on the balcony and let time go by, enjoying the excellant weather we were blessed with.
