This was one of the best b&b's we stayed at on our trip around the UK. From the time we arrived Nigel & Lynne were very welcoming. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. We would stay here again.

Stayed here for a short break to get away from it all. Very relaxing, beautiful place (torquay), hotel ideally located, fabulous hosts, food and accommodation. Nigel & Lynne make you feel like part of the family !!

No complaints here, the hosts work very hard for you, good breakfast choice, well cooked and presented, very comfortable spotless rooms, they make you feel quite at home.

I haven't stayed in this hotel but the general sense of customer service is appaling. We had booked a room with this hotel over a month before we were due to stay. They called us the DAY BEFORE our arrival to say they had overbooked.......the hotel only has 6 rooms surely they would have known beforehand how busy they were going to be. They obvously had a better offer with a longer stay.....hence more money for them.....Disgusting attitute and didn't even try to help us find alternative accomodation. With customer service like that I am glad I never stayed.......

As I am sure you can understand, during the very busy season, mistakes can be made, we are after all only only human.
Every effort is made to ensure that we do not double book, but, unfortunately for the first time in three years we managed to double book. This was due to an internet booking agent delaying a booking confirmation being sent to ourselves, hence the double booking.
We no longer use this internet booking agent, and a full apology has been written to the individual concerned. Every effort was made to find alternative accommodation for this customer.
Please do not be put off by this occurence, please see our previous reviews, and our guest comments on our own web site.
