“Lovely setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

Sun was out, we sat outside by the harbour was very nice. We had a glass of wine each, and to eat I had a panini which was tasty and my parter had calamari which was also very nice and we had a side portion of chips too ! Very enjoyable without being pretentious and overpriced.

“Below Decks but above Par!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

Walk along the harbour past the Harvester and the marina shops and opposite three large red umbrellas is a fairly small restaurant called "Below Decks". Don't, what ever you do, walk past! If you are a bit peck-ish, starving or in need of a drink or two then step inside the open front into the welcoming service of "Below Decks".

My Wife and I and our young Son sat amongst the three red umbrellas and had a great meal and it was great.
Below Decks but above par!

“IT IS WAS IT IS”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

Now previous reviewes who have commented on the food not being up to restaraunt quality really should pay more attention to a) the location and b) the menu. Below Decks is a superb little place to go for morning coffee, afternoom cream tea or a very light liunch. It is not a restarant, does not profess to be a restaurant and should therefore not be judged as one. The staff are young, but they are nore than capable, very well spoken and what efficient. Go here for the setting, turn your chair around and face the harbour where you can hear the clinking of the masts - Perfect!

“A great cafe-bar that doesn't get away from what it is!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2012

A great cafe-bar that doesn't get away from what it is, great food in a stunning location. The young staff provide a vibrant atmosphere, nice to see in the current climate of young unemployment that businesses are providing such opportunities; either way the staff still provided a great service! Overall a great find and real treasure of the bay!
