“A Hotel well worth visiting.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2010

We like the Toorak very much, the food is excellent the service is the same. We always go for a Terrace room of which the room itself is first class. A very small comment is that the terrace gave a bit of a tired appearance and the presence of a full ash tray and discarded plastic cups did not help. Thankyou for a lovely stay

Sincerely---------Alan Bennett.

This hotel is a pleasure to visit - I have been visiting the TLH complex for 30 years and have stayed at the Toorak regularly for the last 14 years. It never fails to please. Sue, the head receptionist is warm, friendly, efficient and always helpful. The attractive restaurant, efficiently managed by Chris and assisted by Dan and their well trained staff, is excellent, providing first class service with a good choice of food.
Many of the bedrooms are spacious with lovely sea views and it is a hotel for all seasons and for all ages. There is a fabulous indoor swimming pool complex with sauna and steam room, plus dancing and other entertainment nightly, a games room with pool, table tennis and ten pin bowling and other facilities and a separate indoor bowling arena (long mat and short mat). I haven't tried the gym and spa facilities but am told they are very good.
In warm weather there are extensive gardens to enjoy, an outdoor swimming pool plus tennis courts and a children's play area. There are also several beautiful National Trust properties within easy reach and good coastal paths for walkers.
It is a well run hotel and always a happy experience - why would you go anywhere else!!!

Stayed at the Toorak Hotel with six friends who all thoroughly enjoyed the weekend (the weather helped as it was very hot). The service in the hotel was good and the rooms very clean and spacious. The food was served quickly and a good selection to choose from especially at breakfast. I have now stayed at Derwent, Charlton and Toorak and all hotels are excellent value for money especially the all inclusive drinks break! I always recommend these hotels to friends as there is always something going on even if the weather is bad.

The accommodation, service and attention to details was everything we hoped it would be. The efficiency of the hotel enabled our convention to run seamlessly.

Having visited the Toorak annually for the past 18 years, both in a group booking and as an individual
family party, that surely speaks for itself. The ambience of the hotel and the friendly greeting from all staff is 1st class coupled with the excellent standard and choice of food presented in the restaurant.I am always reluctant to leave and have no hesitation in offering this recommendation.

Stayed at Xmas on a bridge Holiday and enjoyed ourselves very much.
Decided we would have a weekend break with two teenage girl granchildren.
Our riviera joining rooms were top class and the food and service in the resturant was excellent.
The girls enjoyed the games area very much and also the swimming pools.
We enjoyed the ten pin bowling.
All the staff were very friendly and most helpful.
We all enjoyed the weekendand will certainly come again.
A pity there is no bridge break this christmas
