“There is more than one way to visit the Agatha Christie House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

There are a few ways to visit Agatha Christie's house and each on is individual.
You can go by steam railway from Paignton to Kingsway and then catch the ferry boat to Greenway up the river Dart.
You can also take the vintage coach from Torquay that takes you through the road route right up to the house itself.
There is a steam railway on certain days that takes you to Greenway and the a walk up to the house.
Or if you are feeling fairly fit and would like a walk through country paths along the river Dart you could catch a bus to Kingsway and walk from there to Greenway.

All three ways are an experience in itself and adds to the delight of visiting the house and grounds of Agatha Christie's. We were lucky enough to visit when there was a pianist playing the ivory keys on the grande piano, which all added to the experience.

“Great trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2012

We took the 1947 bus from torquay...it takes about half hour and the driver is very informative and quite funny. The house and gardens and views are stunning. There is a tea room with an extensive menu. It is quite expensive but worth it.

If you are a Agatha Chrisitie fan like myself then this is a must it is so interesting, then the next stop on the Christie trail is visiting the Museum a absolute must. I would hightly recommend a visit to Greenway Agatha's home what a fantastic house, and the grounds are beautiful.
She must of been very happy to live in that lovely house.
