This was our 2nd visit to Gemellis, the first being just after they opened quite a while ago. I thought it was OK to good the first time, but it is even better now. The food was lovely, fresh and tasty. Very typical Italian menu, pasta, pizzas, meat and fish. The veg was more interesting than the usual boring selection served in many other places, ours included leeks and sweet potato. Very reasonable prices. Perhaps a little lacking in atmosphere, they also sell some Italian products from the refrigerated display case and some shelves at the back of the restaurant, unless they are making some profit on the dry goods I would suggest removing it and put another table in, to me it looks out of place, perhaps move it to nearer the door. The location is not brilliant, not much else there to attract you and it is easy to walk past and not notice what it is. Pity it is not further down the town I am sure it would be busier. Also think all the newspaper articles pinned to the front door would look less tatty and better in a frame in the window. But the main thing is it is a little gem and worth finding for good food.
