“First time for Lobster”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

This restaurant is a hidden gem and was the perfect place to try lobster for the first time. I wasn't disappointed, it came out beautifully presented with a range of dips. All of the food we ordered was lovely and there were no complaints from us. The waitress was very nice and answered any questions we had. It is in a great location with views across the harbour. It was a little expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. Would go back if I am ever there again.

“Great find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

Up a little sidestreet, wasnt expecting much but were hungry as most restaurants on the Saturday night were fully booked, so happy they had one last table free for us at the back of the restaurant. Then l0 minutes later kindly offered us another up by the open terrace with the terrific view over harbour and sunset. We enjoyed our meal very much, and together with the accompanying bread and oil, fresh veg and potato dauphinoise/new pots, we had no room for dessert; it was filling and tasty. Tables fairly close together, which made for some friendly conversation with neighbours. Had we had time would have been more than happy to go back again, perhaps not eaten so much bread so as to manage a dessert. Recommed.

“Lobster”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

Nice little restaurant hidden from the street but a great view over the harbour and beautiful sunset.
Real fresh fish straight from the boats.
First time eating lobster, not the last.
They were short staffed on our visit and the waitress made that clear, so the slow service was acceptable to us. It was a nice dining experience so we weren't in a hurry to leave.

“A must eat at restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

Man Fridays is definitely one of Torquay’s must eat at restaurants. Tucked away just off the harbour’s main promenade, it is small but perfectly formed, with stunning views of the harbour. The food is incredible. Yes, it is slightly more expensive than other places however the friendly, attentive service of the waiting staff and the beautiful presentation of the food is more than worth it. We had the seafood platter for two and it was like something you would see in a movie, overflowing with fresh, perfectly cooked seafood. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Go, go, go!

“Good food, excellent position.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

A small restaurant in a nice position overlooking the harbour. Good , fresh fish dishes and friendly service. My only reservation was that the accompaniments could have been more interesting and sophisticated e.g. all meals seemed to come with three sorts of potatoes...none of which were fantastic. Reasonable value, and certainly worth a visit.
