these woods really are special, perfect for walkers, cyclists and runners alike. They are very large with a beautiful river running through them.

“Scenic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

A great place to go for a cycle with the kids, or a good walk, it's very nice and picturesque , all little noisy at times but that's just children having fun.

“Walk through Plym Bridge Woods”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

If you like the countryside and walking this is the place for you. The only problem we found was finding the beginning of the walk and where to park! Once we'd gone into the park and ride and made enquiries we were okay. The walk is mostly on a tarmac wide path so good for access for people with children in pushchairs etc. You are gradually climbing all the while but there is so much to see - currently plenty of Blue Bells and other flowers, plus the water and then further up the track the National Trust have set up a viewing area with telescopes so you can watch the Peregrine Falcons on their nest feeding the young birds. If you keep on going - quite a few miles you end up on Dartmoor at Clearbrook where there is a nice pub.

Nice walk along side river, great views and great coffee at the ice cream van. Care needed if you try the cycle track only the bikers can come past a little bit quick
