“Clean and tidy hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012 via mobile

We stayed here for one night to save us a forty mile drive home after a social event in town. Easy to find, good car parking, restaurant on site, friendly and helpful reception staff. The room was very clean, comfortable and reasonably furnished. The bed was a little too firm for my liking, however I believe that's down to personal preference. Value for money is great, we paid a total of £45.50p for one night inc full breakfasts for two. The breakfasts are served on an all you can eat basis and were very good quality.

All in all, well worth the money.

Stayed on the 30/11/12 as was having a night out in Plymouth. It is ideal for going to the aquarium and Oceana nightclub. The Barbican Leisure Park is a 2 minute walk away which has a bowling alley, Pizza Hut, Pizza Express, Nandos, Frankie & Benny's, Oceana and Vue Cinema. However it's at least a ten minute walk to local shops, 20 minutes to Drakes Circus shopping centre and 40 minute walk from the train station... But there are taxis everywhere. premier inn is only two storeys high which makes it feel more homely. The rooms are huge with a good ensuite, big tv with all the channels and a sofa. There was also a very friendly woman working on reception. Great value for money.

Room Tip: There is a quiet zone area where you have to be quiet 10pm - 7am

This hotel is well-located for visiting the Plymouth Aquarium - which is literally a 5 minute max walk from the hotel.

The hotel is very clean, modern, and the staff were extremely friendly and couldn't have done more for us.

Breakfast was across the car park in the restaurant and the staff there were just as friendly and helpful.

The car park can get very busy but Premier Inn provides a pass to allow free parking in the car park for the duration of your stay.

This is the newer Premier Inn on Lockyers Quay in Plymouth, very helpful staff easy registration free car park if the Inn car park is full they give you a card for your dashboard so you do not get a fine in the larger car park. the room was on the first floor you use your room card to gain entry to the main building just inside reception, the staff will even carry your bags up for you if you are not able, the card opens the room door you just hold it to the front of the lock and when the green light shines open the door, the room was quite large with a hanging robe and coat rack just inside the door a hair dryer under the shelf a kettle and tea and coffee milk sugar mugs and spoons to the right on another shelf, waste paper basket a large desk with chair under with electric and mirror over to the right was a sofa bed, the double bed was comfy and we slept well. Their was plenty of lights and heating thermostat on the wall by the bathroom which was very efficient and kept us warm all night bedside tables each side of the bed, telephone, double glazed window the bathroom was well equipped with bath/ shower worked from the bath tap two bath and two hand towels bath mat a shower gell dispenser and a soap dispenser, glasses , wc rails for the towels bathrobe hook behind the door, sink large mirror. plenty of mirrors in the bedroom, if you require any more coffee or tea bags, milk etc just ask at reception. We eat at Table Table just across the car park very good service and a very enjoyable meal, booking out was just a matter of handing in your room cards at reception, all in all a very enjoyable stay we would use Premier Inns again.

Room Tip: I would think all rooms would be very good but we like the first floor as no one above you.

All the reception staff were great, we had a ridiculous amount of kit to take in and out, we wern't sure how long we were staying and whether we were paying or it had been paid for us. The staff particularly Adam and Laura were brilliant and very accomodating.
The best premier inn I've stayed in. Fresh clean rooms-Bonus!

The attached pub was ok, but had a disco with a DJ that sounded like he was from a fair ground. It was really loud and annoying anyone eating, but the 5 people doing drunken dancing seemed to enjoy it.

Visiting relatives for two nights. The hotel was clean, quiet and did just what it says on the tin. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the Table Table restaurant was excellent.

You get what you expect from the premier inn brand, reasonable value, good firm bed and the standard room layout. Nice big wall mounted flat screen tv was a bonus, but water pressure was lamentable, come on guys, you can't cut costs that much that all we're left with is a pathetic dribble from the tap and shower.
