Visited earlier in the year and had a bad breakfast experience but enjoying wetherspoons breakfasts generally decided to go back on my last trip.
Unfortunately no improvements seem to have been made.Although there were only a couple of tables occupied, ordering and service were a bit of a chore, food took a long time to arrive and the bacon had obviously been cooked on a griddle previously used for steak, and the eggs could have been used for a frisbee competition.Main problem was the vegetarian amongst us,who ordered a Quorn Sausage Sandwich with a side of Mushrooms and Hash Browns. When the meat eaters breakfasts arrived, the waitress apologised to our vegetarian and said a mistake had been made in the Kitchen and the Chef had cooked ordinary sausage not Quorn,he was rectifying the mistake and the sandwich would soon be with us. Unfortunately it had not arrived by the time we had eaten our breakfasts, and we had to remind the waitress. What a disappointment when it arrived! The Chef had cooked one Quorn Sausage which was cut in half and topped with a rubbery egg which we had not ordered. The side of Mushrooms which we paid 70p for consisted of two mushrooms, but the hash browns were nice!
Next time i think we will try somewhere else!
