“Great English breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

We enjoyed a Bank Holiday brunch here. Good location on the harbour. I had the Full English which was fabulous - good value and great selection of the classics. The homemade beans were particularly brilliant. The service was a little slow however, and my friends who ordered the sausage sandwich were very disappointed - nasty bread and very expensive for what you got. So, mixed review very much dependent on what you ordered. Oddly, the coffee was also served with sugar already in it so we had to return it to request one without sugar!

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

It is a light, airy restaurant right by the Marina, We enjoyed a fabulous lunch which was the seven course tasting menu.
The staff were wonderfully attentive with good knowledge of the menu and the wines complimenting each course.
The food was extremely well presented, perfect portion sizes and delightful flavours.
I can say with certainty that we will be returning for another lovely lunch!
(Really don't understand the bad reviews, i suppose if you prefer Burger King this is not the place for you......)

“Excellent meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013 via mobile

Had the taster menu, highlight of which was a plate containing half a quails egg wrapped in black pudding and fried, belly pork on a bed of Creamed cabbage with bacon, pork ribs and mashed sweet potato. Absolutely delicious. Good service and friendly staff

“Excellent!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013 via mobile

We ate here as a group of six using a groupon voucher. I had read the mixed reviews and thought I would give it a try as we had a good deal and nothing to loose!! It was lovely! We all had the taster menu and I can not eat fish and did not want rabbit and they were brilliant at changing these courses with prior notice! The service was exceptional and the food fantastic!!! Six very happy people who all are very critical about food and not afraid of complaining!!! For all the bad reviews about taster menus remember they are TASTERS!! Don't expect plates full!!! Will definitely return!!!

“Another great meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Made a return visit to the Brasserie and had another lovely meal. If you haven't tried a taster meal this is the place to go. Lovely presentations and tastes and flavours you probably haven't had before. I don't eat any fish or shellfish and the restaurant made alternatives for me. I have seen a couple of bad reviews and wonder if those people went the same place I did or if its sour grapes from another establishment. The pictures will show the 'Masterchef Professional' look of the food to taste it youv'e got to go yourself to try! Good service as well as good food.
