“Odd stuff.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

The photos at the top of this thread give a very fair impression of the images in this gallery. To me, none of it seems to be comfortable, stimulating, attractive or interesting. Where would you put it. All the colour combinations jar. Like playing a strange tune using only the black notes on a piano. All expensive too.

“A matter of personal taste.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

A welcoming space to look around but we came away wondering what if anything it amounted to. Some items might suit a big area in need of a bold eye catching focus, others, maybe most, seemed to be just cocophanous tangles. Our other impression was that it all looked a bit dated. But we would recommend anyone strolling through the RWY to look in. It's free. Give yourself a break from the chain restaurants.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

The move to this site now gives visitors an insight and feel for the original interiors of these amazing buildings. It's has more character as a back drop for the art as you move through different areas. How many galleries can you visit where there is a resident artist ready to discuss the art in an easy and informal manner? Martin Bush's work evolves and changes which always makes a visit interesting.

“Its Abstract! The clue is in the Artist's work - excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

I really enjoy this gallery. The resident Artist (Martin Bush) creates a splash of colour and originality which, for some, may be an acquired taste but when you acquire it you will come back for more!

The artist is more than happy to speak to you about his work and to answer any questions you might have; friendly and fun, not intimidating or stuffy like some galleries. Spend some time looking at his work, open your eyes and your mind and see in it what you will. Enjoy.

“Martin Bush Gallery, Melville Building, Royal William Yard”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

I don't know what PlongeurV, Chas C & Crow M is on about. No good just looking in, if you had any acumen then you would have asked Martin Bush what it was all about. Get your facts right before writing derogatory remarks. Note address above Chas C.
For me, a brilliant and enjoyable visit. Shame places like the gallery get people saying negative remarks when the ones who give positive remarks say it to the owner. Why not go again and face Martin and tell him why you didn't enjoy your visit instead of being an armchair critic.
