“Good views.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

This is a lovely area to walk. There are good views across Plymouth sound. There is Smeaton's tower to visit, which is interesting.

“More could be done”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

With more investment by the Council the area could appeal to even more visitors. The beaches could easly be cleaned up.

“Tranquil Beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Loving the walk around the hoe! Not only the breeze and the seaview that one can enjoy, but also a bit of history learning from the statues/memorials there. I particularly like the "Love LIFE" garden and message board that are located on the side of the Hoe. It's full of optimistic take on health, friendship and life in general, and it's not difficult to adapt in our daily life! Moreover, the red-white lighthouse that is way inland, as opposed to the usual closer to the sea spot, is unique to me.

“Wonderful views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

There is a picturesque walk around the hoe and in the summer an outdoor bathing pool.the walk will take you down to the Barbican which still retains the old parts of Plymouth and a great atmosphere on a sunny day as there are many places to sit and have a drink or food

“A nice walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

The Hoe is a lovely place to walk around. Visit the Citadel, walk around the coast area and have a look at the lighthouse.
