“A great picnic spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

On a sunny day, a lovely spot deep on Dartmoor with a beautiful clear river running next to the carpark. Absolutely ideal for a picnic in the sun and a jump amongst the boulders in the river. However a favourite canoeing spot in winter as the river runs much fiercer than slower flows in summer. Little shop selling tea, coffee, ice creams, buckets and nets etc and toilet block. Badger's Halt restaurant / shop nearby for larger meals. No bins so take a bag for rubbish. Lovely spot. Carpark £1 by donation in box.

“good out door areas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

a good place for a stop off for a pint and food on the moor. plenty of car parking. on a sunny day can get very busy. the food is good and the beers are well kept. you could even be brave and go for a paddle /swim in the river.Brr!! take the family there welcome.

Brilliant place for kayaking or ideal for walking your dog. Very scenic. If your lucky you may even find a few letterboxes.

“A view to relish....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

A beautiful stop over to see the two rivers meet (hence name).. Once there don't miss out on a visit to the Badgers Holt Tea Rooms... One of the best 'Devon Cream Teas' that can be found are served from a well stocked and popular tea shop. Was introduced then as a young lad in short trouser's when on holiday with my parents over 40 years ago!!
Enjoy!
