My husband & I stayed for one night on January 12th 2013. We weren't sure about parking facilities so we parked in the supermarket carpark next door as there was access to the Hotel. When we found the reception there was no one on the desk so had to wait about ten minutes until someone arrived. She didn't give us any information about the times of breakfast or where we had to go to have it.We were staying on the fourth floor the door was off the main corridor in a narrow passage with the door very close to the door opposite. The double room was quite small & although very clean the decor was from the seventies the carpet was thread bare! There was a brilliant view of the city centre & the bed was very comfortable in fact we had a really good nights sleep & it was very quiet. The bathroom was quite dated as well & you had to make sure the door was closed or else the steam from the shower would set the alarm off!The rest of the Hotel seemed well decorated but I think the restaurant could do with a makeover! The breakfast didn't have a vast choice but there was waitress service for a cooked breakfast & a hot drink.I had coffee but it was awful so left it!Also had to pay an extra £6 to park in their carpark & get a coin to get back out but although we had to check out by 12 we were allowed to stay in the carpark until we left!
