Description: Tucked away in Plymouth 's stylish Copthorne Hotel in Devon, this award-winning brasserie is a popular place for working lunches and intimate evening meals. The main dining room at Bentley's – with maroon carpet, cream walls and wooden furniture – has an elegant, light and airy ambience. The classic menu features favourites such as the selection of steaks served with chips, peas, tomatoes and mushrooms; the duck served with roasted potatoes and orange sauce; and the monkfish with potatoes, topped with a tomato sauce. Popular with both hotel guests and locals – Bentley's is the perfect venue for any occasion.

“OK food.....poor decor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

The main hotel restaurant. Good staff but only OK food and decor is not good, especially the waiting area/bar which needs a good clean and refurbishment (this area is used as breakfast buffet room and overflow restaurant........not a good advert !)

“Average hotel food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012 via mobile

Stayed at this hotel in April 12. Had 3 course dinner from a la carte menu. Food was average, tasty but nothing special. Had dinner on second night from bar menu. I found it below average. My wife had the chilli which was so spicy she could not eat it. We were the last ones left in the restaurant. So I did not want to complain as they were busy moving tables and setting up tables for breakfast. Felt like we were an inconvience as they were working around us. This restaurant Is OK to have a hotel meal. I would not specially come here for a night out. Carpets are stained which makes the restaurant look grubby.

“Not unless its all in the package.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2009

Only been as a guest of a person staying there. It is bland hotel fare. neither good nor bad. You probably wouldn't eat here by choice. Nothing against it. There are so many friendly and popular places close by in adjacent Mayflower Street like Positano and Veggie Perrins, both recommended on Trip Adviser.

“Typical hotel brasserie...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2008

Typical hotel brasserie. I have been here several times for conferences. They make a great coffee in the morning with a good breakfast. The conference meals are hote, tasty but functional. Reasonable all rounder but wouldn't choose to visit for a night out.
