I was left with mixed feelings after my visit to this place. It was the only café I could see in the highly popular Valley of Rocks beauty spot, so it has a monopoly. The interior of the café is dowdy and cluttered but the garden is pleasant. I had a slice of mince tart with cream plus coffee and was charged an exorbitant £6.85 - causing me to put away the fiver I had ready and dig out a tenner. That said, the mince tart was very nice. Cafes in beauty spots often trade off their location to offer mediocre service and this place has a number of areas in which it could improve.
