Small cottage, nice garden, wonderful cakes, interesting fair trade gifts for sale. Associated with the Lee Abbey conference house.

“try the pixie dust!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

A gorgeous tea room, with lots of seating outside as well. Ideal stop on a walk along the coast path, or after the hill up from the beach below. Only open seasonally (I think it's May - Sept). Lovely cakes and cream teas. Little shop selling mostly Fairtrade items and similar - try the "PixieDust" - a delicious mix of spice and sugar to sprinkle on puddings etc.

“Quaint tea cottage garden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012

The location is lovely, in a beautiful English cottage garden with tea served in real bone china cups.
Friendly service, but quite busy and the staff were working very hard to make orders fresh as they were taken.
Overall a very lovely place in a very lovely setting.
P.s delightful cream teas!

“What a surprising find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

Found this place by accident after a greelaning in the area. Lovely place with beautiful gardens and vistas. The tea was great, with extra water, and the cake was divine. Service was excellent but can't comment on the speed as it was us and one other group in the rain. Its run by volunteers from Lee Abbey so they could get overwhelmed in busy times. But, enjoy the atmosphere, relax and chill out. If you want speed go to Costa's or Greggs
