“A really great B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

I recently stayed for one night at Rydon Farm. Sally and Phil were welcoming. The bed was comfy and the room very nice. Plus there were sweets, water and proper cups - all good signs. It was also great to be able to see cows out of the window.

The short stay at Rydon Farm enhanced the visit to our daughter and family who live in Exmouth. Sally made my wife and I feel right at home. I was very impressed with the farms herd of cows that passed by each day - their obvious contentment in being well looked after was infectious. It reflected the ambiance and the service of the B&B. (see photo - shadow of cow basking in the early morning sun). The standard of everything was both excellent and homely.

This is the second time my husband and I have been to Rydon Farm, and quite frankly we wouldn't hesitate to go back! Set in the middle of beautiful Devon countryside on a working farm it is glorious to wake up to rolling green fields every morning! Central to access Woodbury, Exeter, Exmouth and all the beautiful sites southern and east Devon has to offer, the rooms are immaculate and very comfortable, it's like home from home! Sally will go the extra mile to help and the breakfasts are to die for!!! Excellent would recommend to anyone making a trip to Devon!

We stayed at Rydon Farm for three nights in the week before Easter. Although it was bitterly cold outside our room & the farm in general was warm and welcoming. Everything was to a very high standard; our room was large with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower room. The breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere. Sally made us feel at home, and we really enjoyed the stay – we hope to stay again. HME&RHE

We.have just had a very enjoyable weekend of relaxing and quality time thanks to the Sally and Phil and there fabulous farm. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left everything was superb. The warm welcome , the bedroom (The Exe) with the most wonderful four poster bed and a fabulous ensuite bathroom it was just all so beautifully clean and very homely and comfortable. We would definitely be going back to Rydon Farm . The breakfast was just outstanding it really does set you up for the day very tasty local produce .

Room Tip: All rooms are beautifully decorated so you wouldn't be disappointed with any of the rooms.

The owners of Rydon farm were very accommodating with my late arrival time and I was extremely pleasantly surprised with the standard and comfort of my room. Waking up and finding (very quiet!) dairy cows outside in the courtyard across from my room was also a real novelty!

Breakfast topped off the whole experience - will definitely stay again if I'm in the area and highly recommend.

Rydon Farm is a lovely bed & breakfast in a great part of the country. Our room was well appointed with fittings, bedding and toiletries more akin to those one would expect in a good hotel. Sally was welcoming and helpful directing us to an excellent pub nearby (The Diggers Rest) for dinner. Breakfast at the farm will keep you going until tea time!

Given its proximity to CTCRM Lympstone I would particularly recommend it to families visiting for their son's King's Squad Pass Out or other such special occasions hosted by the Royal Marines.
