“An excellent meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

I was surprised to read the negative reviews. During a recent weekend break to Devon I had a meal at the Seven Stars with my husband and 2 young children. We found the pub to be warm and welcoming and the food was excellent. The landlady was friendly and made our children feel very welcome, even bringing them a little pot of mini eggs each for eating all their food. All in all an excellent meal and we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Dartmouth.

“Excellent Lunch and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

I took my family for a day trip down to Dartmouth on the Easter Saturday. Looking for a place to eat we stubbled upon the Seven Starts.

We decided to pop in for lunch and it was easily one of the best lunch meals that i have had in a long time. All 4 of us we extreamely happy with the quality of the dishes that we chose and the service that we received despite how busy it was.

We noticed that there were a lot of families there and you can see why, great food, good ales (if that's your thing), great atmosphere and reasonably priced too.

“very poor meal”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

don;t bother eating here. The meal was awful. It was so bad I took my steak home with me to give to my dog, who would not eat it.
The landlady moaned and groaned most of the time about how hard she works and what she gave up to take over the pub.

“perfection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013 via mobile

have visited the seven stars a few times recently and am amazed at just what some people on here were seeing... they should have gone to specsavers! based on their negative reviews. everytime i received great friendly and bubbly service from the various staff i encountered. the food is brilliant. i had the burger which was properly homemade and served with big chunky chips and homemade relish which was fantastic. the bar itself is a modern twist on the traditional old style of the building but it is comfortable, warm and cosy and unlike many pubs very clean! keep up the good work will definately be returning
