“Extremely friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

We popped in here for an "All day breakfast" (£6) which was really nice ( especially liked the scrambled egg - done perfectly ! ).
We were greeted with a cheery "Hello and welcome", given a choice of tables and had a couple of huge cups of tea ( lovely!) before breakfast arrived.
They had a Wi Fi connection as well which was useful.
We would definitely use it again when in the area.

“brilliant service matched by fantastic food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2014 via mobile

Once again Rebecca and Daniel gave us the warmest of welcomes and a great lunch. Homemade pasty, chips and salad for me and one of the best build your own burgers with salad and chips for my wife. Be prepared to relax and enjoy your break away from the tempest outside in the welcoming atmosphere of Charlie's. Brilliant.

“Tasty food and the best hospitality”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2014 via mobile

I had a very tasty vegetable burger with gluten free bun. As simple burger and chips go, this was up there. Simple food done very well. Better still though is the hospitality. The lady owner was so lovely, she couldn't have been more sweet or accommodating. A real gem.

“great cream tea!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

Having just visited King Arthur's castle we popped in to this cafe for a cream tea. It was wonderful, the best cream tea we have ever had - and we have had quite a few!! The scones were large, warm and fluffy and although we usually fight about the cream and jam there was no need this time - there was plenty of both and they were delicious! The service was excellent too, will definitely visit again.

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

We stopped here for coffee and cake after walking the coastal path from Boscastle on a very wet and misty day - whilst we were soaked and a little muddy we were made very welcome. The home made cakes were delightful - good selection - vegan chocolate and banana loaf yum and the coffee good. Soya milk carried and it was fantastic to see that special diets catered for. The food we saw on other tables looked and smelt very good - if only we hadn't packed our lunches....... to next time.
