“basement like restaurant - Chef too busy to care”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2011

Arriving early with kids at 6pm, restaurant not too busy maybe 5 tables full, but were obviously preparing for a fully booked night.
My husband ordered seafood linguini £14 which was good enough, kids pizza and pasta ok too but £6 per bowl with no drinks or ice cream included. My £14 seabass in pesto had no flavour of pesto and was so heavily covered black pepper I was not able to finish the meal. After I complained my glass of wine was removed from the bill but when I asked if the chef made any comment I was told he was too busy to care. We should have stuck to the pizza.

“Bit if a rip off.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2011

Haven't felt so disappointed in a long while. Have been to Pizza Patio before and have enjoyed the food. However, this visit was sorely disappointing and cannot feel but ripped off. I ordered fillet steak - absolutely cooked to perfection (though not the best bit of meat) but I was totally disgusted that the £3 pepper sauce was just a drizzle on top of the steak. Steak came in middle of plate, with a side of green beans and a rather small helping of skinny fries. For £19 (inc. sauce) this is definitely NOT value for money. My husbands pasta was enjoyable, but both starters very tasteless. Sorry - but won't be visiting again soon. On a positive note staff were very friendly and efficient.

“Test tubes and beakers!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2010

The one thing i have to say about this place is the pizzas are truly beliisima!!! sent form michelle clementino (the itlaian god of pizza), they have the perfect balance of dough, toppings & sauce, which could only be have been produced in my eyes by a "pizza scientist", some say elvis isnt dead. i say obviously his is! but what about Einstein? he lives on cloaked under the vail know as the pizzas patio, diversifying from the theory of relativity and turning his skills to more pressing issues such as pizza perfection. And if elvis is still alive maybe that explains the blue suede shoe i found in the toilet!

Long live michelle clementino, bravo! x
