I have just returned from a visit to St Ives where we spent 3 nights at The Cobbles B&B.

We were 2 couples staying in a king size room and double room. The B&B is very central... literally 2 mins walk from the harbour beach. We received a warm welcome from the hosts and the rooms were fantastic.

My husband and I stayed in the king size room. The room itself was medium sized and included a king size bed with lovely bedding. There was also a flat screen TV and DVD player, excellent choice on the tea tray and lots of really nice touches.

The bathroom was large with a massive shower and was also very nicely finished. The quality of the towels was fantastic and again the little extra's included were very welocome.

Breakfast was served at 8:30 and was cooked to order. There was fresh fruit salad with natural yogurt or cereal to start followed by a full english / bacon sandwich / sausage sandwich / scrambled eggs and smoked salmon / tea / fresh coffee / orange juice etc. The quality continued through to the bacon and sausages that were used.

I would thoroughly recommend this B&B for a stay whilst in St Ives. You will receive a warm welcome and enjoy the luxurious rooms. Book the king size room it is worth the extra £5 / night.

We stayed for 1 night in St Ives before traveling onto Padstow. The Cobbles has been refurbished recently and the rooms are just gorgeous. We had the superior double on the ground floor (there are 4 rooms in total) The decor is lovely - nice crisp sheets, tv with a DVD player and the bed was like something you'd find in a 5 star hotel- i.e big and very comfortable! Lovely power shower too. Breakfast was delicious, with everything you'd want (cereal, full English cooked for you with whatever you fancy, toast, tea, coffee, juice, fresh fruit - everything!) The owners, Rob and Rachel, are very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and make you feel really at home. I couldn't fault it and would highly recommend it. It is situated in the heart of St Ives, just off the main road and has parking (which is rare for a B&B in that area)
